Originally from Cold Lake, Alberta, Scott Lowater found his home in Southern Alberta and has since put down strong roots in the Lethbridge community. Giving back has always been important to him, and he takes pride in supporting the people, organizations, and communities throughout the region he now calls home.

Scott founded Red Door YQL seven years ago with the goal of building a real estate team centred around strong relationships, collaboration, and providing a better experience for clients. In 2023, he took that vision even further by co-founding Onyx Realty alongside Taya O’Donnell.

Outside of real estate, hockey has been a major part of Scott’s life. After playing at a high level himself, he went on to spend decades coaching and giving back to the game. That same team-first mentality carries into the way he leads, works with clients, and approaches the real estate business.

Above everything else, family is at the centre of Scott’s life. When he isn’t working or at the rink, you’ll usually find him spending time with his wife and two kids.
